Alison Bradley Gallery
42 Watergate Street
Chester CH1 2LA
“A tranquil and relaxing space where customers are always made to feel welcome and never pressured.”
We are open 10:30am to 5:30pm Wednesday to Monday.
Tuesday opening by appointment only (we may open on some busier Tuesdays - please call before travelling).
Closing time may vary by up to one hour in quiet or busy periods, and the gallery may close in the event of severe weather, etc. Due to the nature of the geography in North Wales this may include times when Chester is clear but staff are unable to travel safely due to severe weather. We will usually post a notice on this website and our Facebook page when opening hours need to change, but please call if you are travelling any distance.
We will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and Remembrance Sunday.
We usually close early on Christmas Eve & New Year’s Eve, and open late on New Year’s Day.
Both our galleries display a range of Alison's original oil paintings, original charcoal drawings, and reproduction prints. New original work is introduced every few weeks - to be kept informed of new releases please subscribe to our newsletters via the form at the bottom of the page.
Dog owners please note that well behaved dogs are always very welcome at the Gallery.
Chester is easily accessible by road - from England or Scotland take the westbound M56 from the south of Manchester, from North Wales take the A55, from Mid and South Wales take the A494 or A483. From all directions, Chester is well signposted as you approach. There are a number of car parks in the City Centre, but we recommend you use one of the four Park & Ride car parks - they offer a frequent, good value, and wheelchair accessible service. Again, all the Park & Ride car parks are well signposted as you approach Chester.
Chester railway station (CTR) is approximately one mile from the gallery.
