Main Entrance
The main entrance is located at the front of the building, the single door opens inwards and the opening is 870mm at the narrowest point. There are no steps but the floor inside slopes downwards away from the door with a gentle but varying gradient. The pavement adjacent to the door is reasonably flat. There is no flat area adjacent to the door on the inside, but staff will be pleased to assist if required.
Inside the Gallery
The whole gallery is on one level on the ground floor, with very large areas of unobstructed floorspace. The narrowest passageway in the gallery is 1m wide. Most of the floor is flat but there are a couple of gradually sloping areas. A ramp provides access to the small gallery at the rear of the building. We have two sofas for any customers wishing to take the weight off their feet for a while.
Toilet Facilities
There are no public toilet facilities at the gallery. Public toilets are available within Chester City Centre.
Guide Dogs / Disability Assistance Dogs
All well behaved dogs are very welcome at the gallery, whether assistance dogs or family pets.
