The view from the summit of Yr Wyddfa / Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales and England. On a clear summer’s day Alison took in the panorama but also the many visitors. The view shows the Dwyryd Estuary near Porthmadog in the distance. Whilst painting this oil Alison noticed the similarities with the work of Caspar David Friedrich, Wanderer above the Sea of Fog 1818.
